Abu Dhabi has a hot desert climate and sunny blue skies can be expected throughout the year. The months of June through September are generally extremely hot and humid with maximum temperatures averaging above 39°C. If you visit during this season you should pack some light layers in preparation for the extreme cold of the hotels and shopping malls that you are likely to prefer to the intense heat! Winter, Nov-May is cooler where average highs fall to the balmy mid 20s and the humidity relents.
